How do the lag, exponential and stationary phases develop over time?

Method: Measure OD600 continuously or at timed intervals and use changes in OD over time to understand growth.

Considerations: OD is not a viable-cell count. Settling, bubbles, dilution, temperature and stirring conditions all affect the curve.
